As a result, the education that you will receive is current and research based, not to mention specific to your needs. The advice and support go well beyond the purchase day. To date, because of revenue generated by equipment sales and rentals, we can still able to answer basic questions by phone without charging a fee.

However, there is another advantage as well, although not as easily measured.

By using All The Best, you may be glad to know that your dollars benefit other mothers and babies in the community. A percentage of all sales are rolled back into continuing education, written materials and resources, mentoring breastfeeding advocates and so on. Because we are independent, we can assist low income mothers without the hassle of a lot of paperwork and permissions. Sometimes this is with equipment, others with support. So you see, we all are helping one another on this parenthood journey. We can't do it alone.

Denise Altman, RN, IBCLC, LCCE/Owner-Denise is a nurse educator (1992), a childbirth educator (1994), and a Registered Lactation Consultant (1998). Denise states that although she has several credentials, the most important are her son and twin daughters. She started All The Best in 2001 to offer pumps for moms who needed them outside of normal business hours. She soon realized that families were also looking for evidence based, consistent information that was also personalized to meet their own specific needs. In return, she states that her work brings her much joy and personal satisfaction.

Chaka Mickle /Lactation Consultant, Educator-Chaka started as a back up LC for Denise when she was ill or unavailable to see a mom in need. Chaka has been a breastfeeding advocate throughout her entire nursing career. This passion led her to become a lactation consultant and assist the childbearing and postpartum family in having a successful breastfeeding experience. Chaka is currently the Midlands Neonatal Outreach Educator for South Carolina and has a young son who received the benefits of breastfeeding…and it shows.
