Traditional Classes

Successful Breastfeeding (SKU#BFC)
Offered monthly, our prenatal breastfeeding class will help you prepare before and after delivery. Most often, breastfeeding difficulties are related to latch and positioning; therefore, over half of the class is devoted to the basic. Heavy emphasis is placed on how to know feedings are going well, and if not, how to get help. In addition common hospital routines and newborn behaviors are discussed. We will also look at a variety of different pumps and what they are best used for. The cost includes mom and an optional partner. Classes are assigned based on due date and/or physician. An email will follow online registrations.
Birth In A Day (SKU#BID)
Created for busy families unable to attend a four to six week series, our Saturday class is the basics of prepared childbirth without a lot of fluff. Birth in a Day is information-intensive in an interactive format; plus we give lots of breaks for moms late pregnancy comfort! This class is an excellent refresher for experienced parents as well. Information also include Caesarian birth, Lamaze breathing and pain relief interventions. We encourage families to register early because the class fills quickly.
Cesarean Prep Class (SKU# CPC)
Many people take labor preparation classes, but until now, resources for cesarean birth education have been limited. All The Best is pleased to offer our newest course, Cesarean Prep to allow you the option of evidenced-based prenatal education about your birth and recovery process. Like all of our prenatal classes, this course was created with input from physicians and families; and is offered in a comfortable setting that will allow you and your partner freedom to ask plenty of questions and get a better understanding of this process.
Newborn Care and Development-(SKU# NCD)
If you are anxious about caring for your baby, this class will help ease some of your fears. In addition to basic care topics such as diapering, bathing, cord care, and sleeping, you will also learn about newborn development-what happens during pregnancy as well as the first few months. Included topics are transitioning to parenthood, choosing childcare, and what to do when the baby is sick.
